IU @ Purdue

Aidan O'Connell started his Purdue career as a walk-on. He may have closed it out with an unforgettable performance.

The fifth-year senior matched his career high by throwing for four touchdowns, helping the Boilermakers set a single-season team record for completions and bringing back the Old Oaken Bucket for the first time in three years with a 44-7 victory over rival Indiana.

The victory was the Boilers first Bucket win since 2018 and their most lopsided in the rivalry since a 62-10 victory in the late Joe Tiller's final game as Purdue coach.

For the Hoosiers, it was more frustration in a season full of disappointment. The Hoosiers lost their final eight games and finished their first winless season in league play since 2011.

IU v Minnesota

The Golden Gophers needed something to go right and a trip to Indiana did the trick. Minnesota played more like the team that won four straight in October than the one that struggled to score against Illinois and then No. 19 Iowa. Next week's game will dictate the Gophers' postseason fate — and perhaps the West Division championship.

The Hoosiers added another dubious chapter to an already lost season by going winless at home in conference play for the first time since 2015 and just the third time since 2011. One goal still remains: Keeping the Old Oaken Bucket with a win next weekend.

IU v Rutgers

IU's misery continued in a 38-3 Rutgers rout. Isaiah Pacheco scored twice in the first quarter and Rutgers scored 17 points off six turnovers to move withing one win of becoming bowl eligible for this first time in 2014.

The 35 point win is the most decisive victory for the Scarlet Knights since joining the B1G. Their second greatest margin of victory came against the Hoosiers in 2016.

IU @ Michigan

After a heartbreaking loss in East Lansing a week ago, the Michigan Wolverines bullied Indiana's offense and rolled to an easy 29-7 win over the Hoosiers in Ann Arbor on Saturday night.

Michigan's defense gave up just 195 yards to Indiana, while its offense put up 411 yards behind 168 rushing yards from Hassan Haskins and 223 passing yards from the tandem of Cade McNamara and J.J. McCarthy.

The Hoosiers by virtue of the loss are no longer in consideration for a post-season bowl appearance. Final score Michigan 29 Indiana 7
