Since 1925 Indiana and Purdue have played back and forth home and away until 2014. With the addition of Rutgers and Maryland Indiana will play host to the bucket game twice in a row. This would be the 90th meeting for the Old Oaken Bucket. In a back and forth contest the Hoosiers tied the game at 16 On Griffin Oaks 34 yard field goal and with 0:27 remaining quarterback Zander Diamont scored on a 1 yard scamper to go ahead 23-16

Tevin Coleman finished with 2,036 yards for the season becoming the first Hoosier player to top the 2,000 mark. The Hoosiers snapped a six-game losing streak and held onto the Old Oaken Bucket for the second straight year - the first time they would do this since 1993 and 1994.

Ohio State scored twice early to go up 14-0 but the Hoosiers capitalized on three turnovers to keep the game within one point in the first half. 

Tevin Colman's second touchdown for 90 yards would put the Hoosiers ahead making it 20-14. A Jalin Marshall return punt and two additional touchdown receptions put the Buckeyes ahead and the game out of reach. With the victory Ohio State clinched the East Division to play in the B1G championship game.  Final score Ohio State 42  Indiana 27

Tevin Colman finished with 228 yards and three touchdowns surpassing Von Dunbar in the Hoosier record book.
