IU had lost six straight at Purdue, 12 straight in conference play and 15 straight league games outside of Bloomington. The Hoosiers were facing their first winless season in Big Ten play since 1995. But in overtime, Mitch Ewald kicks a 31 yard field goal to win 34-31 and to retain the bucket.
