The game turned when Indiana true
freshman defensive back Jonathan Crawford picked off Brandon Doughty on back-to-back
offensive snaps for Western Kentucky. The Hoosiers scored touchdowns after both
turnovers.
Indiana gave up a lot of yards -- 568 of
them -- but repeated its early-season trend of toughening up on defense in the
second half.
Nate Sudfeld was brilliant, completing 20-of-27 passes for 355
yards, with three touchdowns and no interceptions. Meanwhile, Jordan Howard churned
out the yards on the ground, going for 203 on 31 carries.
The Hoosiers donned the Script Indiana Helmet design for the first time.
